• Spring Training games started today: CIN 1 PHI 8; NYM 2 DET 4; COL 7 CWS 3; KC 1 TEX 6; WAS 3 FLA 3.
• It looks like Mike Piazza won't be going to Japan, as two teams are rumored to be interested in his services.
• The Rays were never serious about Bonds, but never not interrested.
• The Red Sox had free agent Freddy Garcia over at their Spring Training complex today for an evaluation.
• The Twins haven't made any progress with Joe Nathan on an extension.
