Mariners Don't Want to Give Up Jones?

Not too much new stuff on the Mariners these last two days. But something came to me; what happened to the Mariners and Orioles being one player away to pull off an Erik Bedard trade? Maybe it's the fact that the Mariners don't want to give up Adam Jones? Or shouldn't.

Only about five or six days ago, it was looking like the M's would send Adam Jones, George Sherril and one of Brandon Morrow and Carlos Truinful to the O's for Erik Bedard. It was looking like it was just a decision on which young pitching prospect to give up. Now debating on whether or not to trade Adam Jones complicates things even more. The Mariners have to make the decision on whether or not they want to win now, or try again five years from now. Nice little line from the fine folks over at MLBtraderumors.com on the Adam Jones situation,"Maybe the Mariners have been reading blogs again."
