Around the League: March 9, 2008

What's gone on in the MLB today.
  • The Mets have no interest in Bonds. They laughed off the reports. Joel Sherman of the New York Post said that Bonds would be a perfect fit for the Mets, because "He is old, injury prone and very likely will not respect the manager."
  • Giants OF Aaron Rowand would really like the Giants to acquire Joe Crede from the White Sox. He says that he is just the middle man in any negotiations.
  • The Rangers signed Sidney Ponson to a minor league contract, and he will report to the team for Spring Training on Monday.
  • Spring Training action from today: BAL 7 FLA 3; CIN 6 TB 4; CLE 0 WSH 9; NYY 6 MIN 4; PIT 7 DET 9; STL 5 ATL 12; TOR 9 PHI 4; WSH 2 CLE 5; HOU 0 NYM 3; BOS 0 LAD 4; CWS 3 SD 12; CHC 13 KC 1; COL 10 SF 2; MIL 5 OAK 2; TEX 4 LAA 6.

Anyone else seriously messed up because of Daylight Savings Time?
