MARINERS CUT RAMIREZ!!!!!!!!!

The Mariners have released, or cut, whatever you prefer, Horocio Ramirez. The marinerswill have to pay a sixth of Ramirez's $2.75M salary for 2008.

"We did not believe Horacio was going to break camp with us,'' Mariners GM Bill Bavasi said in a release. "We felt it would be in everyone's best interest to give him time to catch on with another club.''

This shortans the list for the long reliever battle. I didn't see HoRam working out that well for the Mariners. The Braves ran away with the trade for Rafael Soriano, who is now turning into a solid closer on the other side of the continent. I rerally don't want to start thinking about this guy again.
