Mariners Sign Denny Stark

The Mariners have signed 33 RHP Denny Stark to a minor league deal. Stark was drafted by the Mariners in 1996, and was traded to the Rockies with Brian Fuentes and Jose Paniagua for Jeff Cirillo in 2001. Stark hasn't seen big league action since 2005, because he is coming off of two Tommy John surgeries. He was with the Rockies' and Indians' organizations before his surgeries.
